Great value and location. I rated it on the high side because of location, very clean and quite. The rooms are very simple and dated but very clean and comfortable beds. A short walk to the lake and very quaint town. Great value
Not even done my stay here and I just had to come leave a 5 star. Absolutely great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, fairly priced and was already heated up for my arrival. Great spot lights for your boat security, definitely feel safe leaving my boat here. Will be back for sure
A quiet and affordable little place to stay that is easy to find and conveniently close to Lakeview Park. The rooms have a bit of a retro vibe that looks like photos my parents took on road trips they went on when they were younger (before I got in the way). It's not fancy or flashy, but everything is clean, comfortable and cozy. The air conditioner and fridge keep things cool, the bed and pillows are soft and substantial. I hope to return soon!
Nice and clean and perfect location, this is our 3rd stay. It is dated inside but clean, has microwave and fridge. Tim Hortons is a 3 min walk. We do bring our own towels, shampoo etc..even extra pillow but that's my choice. AC needed upgrades as it was super loud in rm 4. Bottom line, price is good on a lower budget, location is amazing with marina a short walk away. Not a busy motel and that's how I like it. Nice family that works hard. Beautiful flower garden with clean curb appeal.
Within walking distance of the Belle River Marina makes this an ideal location for anyone planning to fish and/or otherwise enjoy the waters of Lake St Clair. The rooms are clean and well kept, the service is just exceptional, and price is a real deal. I stayed with two others in one room, which has a TV/Cable, a microwave, and a fridge big enough to stock four days worth of breakfast, lunch, and dinner food for all of us. The proprietors even stopped by the evening before check out just to say good bye and thanks and to ask us how our (fishing) trip had been. We'll definitely be staying there again when our travels take us into that area.
Very clean and very nice owners. The location is perfect to walk around downtown and to the beach.. Has a microwave and small bar fridge. One down fall since I am a coffee drinker is that they don't supply coffee machines.. Water pressure is great and the beds seem very comfortable.. I give this motel a 5 stars..
The Petit Dragon Motel was an exceptional stay for 3 nights. We didn't need a car!! It's a short walk to the beach, the marina and a nice park. Shops and restaurants were also in walking distance. The breakfast at Edna's was delicious and great value for money. Peter keeps the motel spotlessly clean and is super helpful. His hibiscus garden is spectacular.
I loved everything about my stay! The owner of the motel was very kind, the rooms were so cheap, & really clean. The area was safe & quiet. Plan on coming back in the future!
